We had our first visit to the Matinal at Palmera, just south of Gandia on the Costa Blanca today.  Approximately 250 bikes were in attendance with all the major manufacturers covered and a good crowd of people.

These events often turn up a mixed bag of rides from highly customised choppers through trikes and cruisers, modern nakeds and a good sprinkling of sports bikes, and a few classics for good measure.

After Palmera we also visited Beniarbeig, which I think due to a lack of publicity was very quiet.  At the point we arrived there was only a handfull of bikes in attendance and maybe 25 people, a great shame as these types of events take a lot of organizing.  Palmera and Beniarbeig are only about 20Km apart which probably didn´t help.
