Spanish Bike Sales Continue To Decline

New bike registrations drop 20% in January 2011

As previously reported by Bikers España in February 2010 bike sales have been greatly effected by the general economic downturn.  This trend was slowed in part during 2010 by the implementation and promotion of the Spanish Motorcycle Scrappage Scheme.  However now the scheme has closed sales are falling once again.

DGT Announce New Average Speed Cameras - UPDATE

Trafico SpainDuring December 2010 two new average speed camera systems where installed and activated in Spain, as reported in by us HERE.  The DGT monitored the cameras located near Madrid and Malaga and issued warning notices to the drivers caught speeding up until the end of January, as of the first of February fines would be issued.
