Casabermeja is located at the side of the A-45 a few miles out of Malaga. Take the MA-3104 out of town North towards Villanueva de la Concepcion.
The road starts winding its way through a high walled valley and under what will be the A-46, before opening out into a countryside reminiscent of the UK with fields, hedgerows and cattle lining the roadside. The surface is good, a little narrow in places with a couple of tighter turns to watch for.
Villanueva de la Concepcion is situated on higher ground as the road heads up towards the Torcal national park. The road bends and sweeps around the mountain past the Torcal turn (MA-9016) before dropping down again towards Antequera. There are stunning views all along the road, of mountains, open countryside and the Mediterranean.
