Over the weekend of the 7th & 8th May 2011 the Marquis de Campo in Denia played host to the 19th annual Denia Classic Revival.
The event consisted of a static display of classic bikes, trade stands and bikes for sale on the Marquis de Campo during the Saturday and three races around a street circuit near the court. Then on the Sunday a parade of bikes would set off from Denia passing through Javea and Moraira before stopping in Calpe for lunch and then returning to Denia.
The event was well supported as usual with an array of classics on display including, Montessa, Bultaco, Ossa, Beneli, Ducati, Yamaha, Norton, Scott and a selection of classic cars. The trade stands mainly catered for the classic enthusiast selling new and used parts: chromework, wheels, tyres, engines and even whole bikes for restoration.
The street circuit was a little tight for some of the competitors to open their machines up fully and a couple of riders were caught out by one of Denia's notoriously slippery roundabouts but the racing was entertaining and the rain managed to hold off just long eneough for the bikes to finish.
