What to do on holiday if you don't have a bike to ride but need a buzz?  Throw yourself off a bridge of course.

Based at the Corinth Canal, about an hour from Athens in Greece, Zulu Bungy offers a professional and efficient service to allow the intrepid, or stupid, depending on your point of view the opportunity to bungy jump from one of the bridges over the canal.

A bungy jump has been on my bucket list for years and I have had numerous opportunities, however jumping from a crane over a pub car park is not my idea of fun.

At approximately 210 feet it is not the highest in the world it is, however, one of the most spectaculer.  The canal walls are almost verticle with a width of 25m at the bottom and 28m at the top, it looks a lot narrower on the video and when you are there.

Standing on the platform looking down into the water below, the instructor said to me, "it's just like diving into a swimming pool" and he was right.  It was one of the most exhilarating things I have ever done and would highly recommend the company and experience to anybody.

Enjoy the video.
